Emma has always been fascinated by the medical field, and graduated from the University of New Brunswick in 2017 with a Bachelor of Science. During her time in school she rescued her now seven-year-old cat Karma, who was very sick with a liver disease. She was blown away by the compassion and dedication of the veterinary team that treated Karma and knew immediately that she had found her calling. The fall after graduating, Emma moved to Dartmouth and enrolled in the veterinary technician program at Maritime Business College. She has since graduated and is eager to put she skills to use.
